28. Peniel (Genesis 32: 24 - 31)
It's almost impossible for us to imagine that Jacob could wrestle with God and win. Yet that's indeed what the angel said. It could be that Jacob bit all the odds to raise and bring back the ancestors of Israel twelve tribes to Canaan. Even God had to hand it to him. The same happened to apostle Paul when he said that he suffered in his flesh to fill up what was lacking in Christ's afflictions. We know that he didn't mean he suffered more than Christ but because of his sufferings the gospel and Church were spreading. So, what could we learn from them?
